A Summer Adventure Awaits!
Students who are incoming fourth through incoming eighth graders are invited to join Mercer's summer school program, "Hatchet" Camp! After arriving at Mercer School each morning, we will head out to the school forest. Students will be spending their mornings out at the school forest reading the novel "Hatchet" and learning about a variety of wilderness survival skills as well as learning about environmental education. Each week will have a different focus. All focuses will be intertwined with exciting activities. Class is from 8-12, Monday through Thursday. Students will have the option of going to the summer recreation program afterwards (until 4pm). Parents, please let Ms. Duensing know if your student will be joining the summer rec program also.
